ABOUT

Aoife cut her culinary teeth growing up in the beautiful Irish countryside, where ‘seasonal, local and foraged’ were second nature. Her desire to understand people led her to train as an archaeologist and also to study drama at The National Theatre School of Ireland.

While working as an actor in Dublin she started writing a food blog, then began The Open Door Supper Club, inviting strangers into her home, for out of the ordinary dining experiences. She also created site specific culinary events at numerous locations, including The Science Gallery and Broadstone Art Studios, Dublin and Fennely’s of Callan.

Going back to her countryside roots, Aoife headed to the south of Ireland in 2015 to train at the internationally renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School. Since graduating from Ballymaloe Aoife has worked in the world of food styling and teaching and she spends her time travelling throughout Europe, working as a private chef.
